Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has overlooked Nigerian
players in top English clubs in a list of 18 foreign based players invited for next
month’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania in Dar es Salaam.
Top of the list is inform Watford striker Odion Ighalo who
scored in Nigeria’s last game against Chad, he scored six goals in Watford’s
pre-season games and has scored one goal in two games in the English Premier
League this season.
Also snubbed are Chelsea pair of John Obi Mikel and Victor Moses.
Both players have made Jose Mourinho’s bench in the two EPL games played so
far.
However, first –choice goalkeeper and skipper Vincent
Enyeama headlines the list that also has defenders Godfrey Oboabona, Leon
Balogun and Kenneth Omeruo, midfielders Rabiu Ibrahim, Lukman Haruna and Joel
Obi, and forwards Ahmed Musa, Emmanuel Emenike and Anthony Ujah.
