Ghana Football Association (GFA) has denied talks with
former Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi over the possible replacement of Kwesi
Appiah as handler of the Black Stars.

Keshi, who’s contract was not renewed after coaching the
Super Eagles on a pay-as-you-go basis in four 2015 Africa Cup of Nations
qualifier games, expressed interest in the vacant position in Ghana.
But GFA vice-president Fred Crentsil said three coaches have
already been shortlisted and interviewed for the job, and Keshi was not part of
the prospective coaches.
Crentsil noted that the windows for application is closed
after it was opened for a period of time.
Swiss coach Michel Pont, Spaniard Juan Ignacio Martinez and
former Chelsea manager Avram Grant are reportedly the three men in contention
for the Ghana role.
