South Africa has delayed naming its squad for its final two
games in African Cup of Nations qualifying against Sudan and Nigeria after
captain Senzo Meyiwa was shot dead on Sunday.
Coach Ephraim Mashaba was due to announce the squad on
Thursday.

Goalkeeper Meyiwa was killed in an apparent robbery at a
house he was visiting. Police have launched a murder investigation.
A tearful Mashaba said at a news conference this week that
Meyiwa would have been the first name on his list.
Meyiwa had not conceded a goal in qualifying and was a key
reason why South Africa is unbeaten and top of a group containing African
champion Nigeria. It needs one more win to reach next year's African Cup
finals.
South Africa plays Sudan on Nov. 15 and Nigeria four days
later.
