Nigerian defender Daniel Adejo has been taken on trial by
Scottish Premier League club Aberdeen.
The club made the revelation while noting that the
26-year-old played 90 minutes at right-back in a 1-0 under-20s victory over
Hibernian on Tuesday.
Adejo, who can also play in central defence, played for AEL
Kalloni in the Greek for 18 months after a six-year spell with Italian side
Reggina.
He made his Serie A debut on 1 March 2009 in a match against
Fiorentina.
He scored twice in 31 games last season and once in 11
appearances for Kalloni this term before he was released.
If he succeeds in his trials, he will join Aberdeen as a
free agent.
