Hearts striker Abiola Dauda has been tipped to impress in a
derby replay against Hibernian.
Hearts goalkeeper Neil Alexander says Dauda is ready to make
his presence felt against Hibernian at the second time of asking after bagging
a brace against Ross County in the midweek game.
The Nigerian player struggled to cope last Sunday, February
7 in a frantic 2-2 draw in the Scottish Cup fifth round after joining on
transfer deadline day.
Dauda however showed his potential three days later, scoring
a double in Dingwall to secure a 3-0 win for Hearts after coming on as a
second-half substitute.
“The midweek goals will do Abiola’s confidence the world of
good – and he is looking very good in training so I think he can help kick us
on for the rest of the season,” Alexander said.
Coach of Hearts Robbie Neilson has already described Dauda
as “different class” after he scored twice to seal a 3-0 victory against Ross
County on Wednesday.
